Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners, Inc. is a 501 c 3 non profit organization that is run by volunteers and with donations.

Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners, Inc. also known as LCPO was created in February 2011 by Christine Moskowicz and co founder Alison Santiago.

Our Mission:
The Mission of the Luzerne County Pit Bull Owners Group is to bring together pit bull owners within Luzerne County and beyond so that we may assist in responsible dog ownership through information, support, and proper socialization.
In addition to our educational efforts we rescue and rehome pit bulls so they are provided with a loving, responsible home.

What we offer:
LCPO NEPA Avail-a-bullies rescue program
-we rescue & rehome pit bull and pit bull mix dogs into loving, responsible forever homes.

NEPA Pit Fix
-we offer a $50 spay or neuter for pit bull and pit bull mix dogs in Northeast PA.

Pit Bull Parenting 101
-we host pit bull parenting seminars to help further educate the public as well as pit bull owners on the background of pit bulls.

Pits Helping Pits
-we offer training tuition assistance for pit bull owners so that the are doing their part with training to ensure they have a well mannered pit bull in the community.

Miscellaneous Owner Assistance
- we are here to assist pit bull owners in any way feasible to ensure they are practicing responsible ownership, to prevent pit bulls from being surrendered to the shelter system or from living in less than desirable conditions

Events
-we host events for not only fundraising purposes but to also help educate the public about these often misunderstood dogs.
