LCPO will be hosting our 2nd Annual 5k Race to Rescue on June 8th, 2013!!
Our 2013 event will be held at Kirby Park, Kingston PA (Same location as our NEPA Pit Bull Awareness Day).

LCPO hosts our 5k Race to Rescue as a way to raise awareness and funds for abused and neglected pit bulls, LCPO often rescues some of the most abused and neglected pit bulls and rehomes them into loving, responsible homes once they are well. This takes a great deal of fundraising to achieve, each and every dog we help is well worth it!
This year we will be having guest speakers and helping to raise awareness for abuse and neglect overall, for all animals. It is very unfortunate the abuse and neglect we witness right in our own county. We would like YOU to assist us in raising awareness to help end abuse and neglect of the animals of Luzerne County and beyond!
Registration/Check in will begin at 9am with the race/walk beginning at 10:15 am.
Registration/Check in/event will be held at the Ampitheatre at Kirby Park in Kingston PA.
